Reasons to Hire a Designer

Interior designers are skilled at creating beautiful spaces, and they possess a trained sense of what needs to be done when it comes to the interior design process.

6 Reasons to Hire an Interior Designer

To Save Money

Ever painted three or four times trying to find the right color palette?

It may sound silly because you’re going to have to pay the additional designer’s fee, but the truth is that hiring a designer can help you avoid costly mistakes and help you make design decisions that will increase the value of your home.

To Save Time

Just like hiring a designer will benefit you financially, a designer will also save you on time. A designer already has a trained sense of what needs to be done and how it needs to be done. They’ll be able to anticipate any obstacles that may come up.

Having a Qualified Liaison

A good designer will know how to speak the language when it comes to architects, contractors, and building owners. This is crucial in managing time and money. Strong communication between the interior design and all contractors is the key to a successful project!

Better Resources and Contacts.

Everyone knows it’s difficult to find good resources. Designers know the world of home improvement, so they’re going to have reliable connections that you may need. Hiring a designer will help you easily find reliable contractors that you can trust.  Designers also have access to tons of product and trade accounts that will help keep your design in budget.

Less Stress

Design projects come with many moving parts; picking materials, tracking shipments, communicating with contractors, balancing a budget. Designers double as project managers and keep track of all those moving parts for you. You share your wants

The WOW Factor

People notice a well-designed home. designers are trained to think creatively and spatially and learn to see an overall picture in an interior space. Thinking outside of the box when it comes to home decor is what designers do on the regular. When they’re done, not only will your home look beautiful and cohesive, but it’ll be well thought out and highly functional.

Removing items from the home gives our designers a clean canvas to create your virtual space.

    2. Complete Small Home Improvements

Tackle small home improvements, like retouching chipped paint or polishing hardwood floors, to remove photographic evidence of wear and tear. This will represent your space more accurately in photos and prevent surprises during prospective buyers’ in-person visits to your home.

We offer design and home improvement services as well!

    3. Clean the Home

Whether you’re virtually staging an empty room or doing furniture replacement, it’s important to clean any area of your home that will end up in virtually staged photographs. The more empty and sparkling a room is, the easier it will be to transform.

    4. Don’t forget the Exterior and Yard

Like home staging, curb appeal can increase your home’s value – in this case, by around 20%. Clean up the yard while you get your home ready to improve your curb appeal too. After all, you never know how quickly a buyer may see the virtually staged photos online and request an in-person tour.
